MAP Programs

At launch, QolaQ’s initial Programs plan to focus on offering Simple Critical Illness and Life in a limited release. This approach is expected to enable early Members to provide feedback prior to scaling for broader release and Program expansion.

A. Simple Critical Illness Program

  1. A lump sum payout whenever the Member claim is approved by a majority of Members after being diagnosed with one of the following, nine (9) most common critical illnesses: Cancer, Stroke, Heart Attack, CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft), Heart Valve Replacement, End Stage Liver Disease, End Stage Lung Disease, Benign Brain Tumor or Kidney Failure.

  2. Key terms and conditions:

    a. Initial three (3) month waiting period;

    b. Each Member can claim a maximum of three (3) times for up to three (3) different illnesses; and

    c. When a claim is paid, the Member receiving the payout will be considered as rejoining the MAP and so any future payouts will be adjusted for age from the previous claim.

B. Life Program

  1. A lump sum payout is expected to be made to the designated beneficiary in the event of a Member’s death.

  2. Key Terms and conditions:

    a. An initial six (6) month waiting period.

In the mid-term, QolaQ’s strategy is planned to concentrate on refining product specifications to reflect market demand and responding to Members' needs. Once there is better visibility on market feedback, international expansion and broader Program offerings (e.g., disability, health, and etc.) are planned to be implemented.
